Emily Kopf at “Zerina Blossom’s Books” posted a review of Maia and the Xifarian Conspiracy. A sneak peek below-

“One of the first things I noticed in this book was its imagery. S. G. Basu vividly described each setting Maia entered, portraying the beauty of the landscape and effectively setting the stage for the events that subsequently took place. The descriptions were easy to understand and image even though they were set in a completely different universe.”

The different characters in Maia and the Xifarian Conspiracy were entertaining to watch. Each of them added something irreplaceable to the five person team Maia led. The characters either clashed or clicked realistically according to their personalities, talents, and even age.

Check out the rest of the spotlight and review here.

S.G. Basu is an aspiring potentate of a galaxy or two. She plots and plans with wondrous machines, cybernetic robots, time travelers and telekinetic adventurers, some of whom escape into the pages of her books. Once upon a previous life on planet Earth, S.G. Basu trained to be an engineer, and her interest in science and her love of engineering shows up time and again in her books.
