Disney and Lucasfilm released the third and likely final trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” last night, and they also started selling tickets for the highly-anticipated film.
First off, I’m loving the look and feel of this movie. There’s CGI, of course, but then there seems to be real sets that makes everything so . . . real. Not the hyper-pretty, carefully careless perfection of the last three films.
So, what went down in the trailer? Seems like Rey and Finn don’t know if the events leading up to The Return of the Jedi is real. Han tells them it’s all true.
“The dark side . . . the Jedi . . . they’re real,” he says.
And yeah, Han and Leia reunite.
We do not see or hear Luke, however. What he is up to and where he is now, is still a big mystery.
Rey is clearly more important than it seems, even though she says “I’m no one.”
The two teasers that were released before this, just for getting your spines tingled some more.
If you have time, do head over to Polygon and read the scene by scene breakdown. It’s awesome.
I’m pretty darn excited, are you?
