Today, the ongoing book tour takes me to Melissa’s Book Buzz for an interview. I had a lot of fun doing this. Interviews are tough, especially ones that are not just all technical. I love those interviews that make me stop and think about myself. Melissa’s questions are like that-some were quirky and fun (like the one about lying) but most made me take a closer look at my wishes and wants.
An excerpt (including the “effort to amuse” bit):
1) Describe your relationship with a good book.
A good book is one that endears and endures. A good book is enjoyable, no matter how many times it has been read. A good book ages well too. No matter how old you grow, the book appeals, revealing more and more with each read.
. . .
8) Since you are a storyteller, please tell one good lie about yourself.
Don’t know about lies, but here’s a quirky fact about me–I used to be a professional snake charmer. In 2009, I performed at the CharmerFest with my wildly popular brood of snakes. Snuffles, my 15ft. dark-spotted Anaconda, even has a Facebook fan page.
