Great Beginnings

Has everyone gotten used to 2016 yet? You know, as in not writing xx/xx/15 when you need to date something? I messed up two checks yesterday, so I know 2015 is still strong in me. Doesn’t help when you’re laid up with head cold. But hey, at least I get to binge watch my favorite shows.

This isn’t a long post. You could say, it’s a warm up exercise. Since I haven’t visited the blog for a while, I wanted to write something, just to get the blogging juices flowing again after the wonderful and relaxing winter break.

How has 2016 treated you so far? Awesome, I hope.

For me, 2016 started off cold. Literally. We had three days of temperature in the teens, after 70+ degrees in December. The drastic change obviously had to get my head frozen. See, I don’t adjust to fluctuations in temperature very well. I’ve got a LOT of inertia when it comes to adjusting to rapid weather changes.

Thankfully, that’s not how I am when it comes to other stuff. Which is a good thing, because this business of indie publishing is nothing if not rapidly changing. More about that later.

I’ll be back soon with more of the usual masala (spice; translation for the uninitiated). Until then, stay warm and enjoy this beautiful January.
