100,000,000 Years From Now

There’s always something interesting to be found on YouTube. This is what I found today. You might also think its quite stimulating.

It’s difficult to think of a timespan as vast as 100,000,000 years. It’s harder to dissociate enough from our knowledge of the human civilization and imagine what someone would piece together about our existence when we are gone. What will they find out about us? And how will they do it? They’ll study the geology and find our fossils just the way we do with dinosaurs, and they’ll look at chemical signatures we’ve left behind in the atmosphere. How much about us and our nature will they truly find out?

S.G. Basu is an aspiring potentate of a galaxy or two. She plots and plans with wondrous machines, cybernetic robots, time travelers and telekinetic adventurers, some of whom escape into the pages of her books. Once upon a previous life on planet Earth, S.G. Basu trained to be an engineer, and her interest in science and her love of engineering shows up time and again in her books.
