A Super-short Book Video

I love the writing vocation mostly because I love writing. But a few other things about it also make this path attractive to me, among them, other forms of creative things I’m often able to get into. The trailer above is one such creative adventure.

Well, technically, this is not really a book trailer. It tells nothing about the characters or conflicts. I made it specifically for a Facebook ad and it serves its purpose well.

And oh boy, was it fun! Took me about an hour or so tinkering with iMovie, but this was my first time with the software, so I’m guessing things will only get better from here. iMovie is intuitive for the most part and it was a fun chore. So much fun, in fact, that I’m hoping to make such short videos for all of my books whenever the brain’s too tired of writing.

Feel free to let me know if you see something that needs to be improved or any tips and tricks you might know about making videos.
