Welcome back to my ongoing series about my experience with Kindle Scout. I’m wrapping things up now, here’s the end of the CAMPAIGN (The Final 10 Days).
Today’s part is really short. Not because it was physically short (10 days again), but because I had my emotions in check so well, that the time glided past. Besides, I had the campaign process nailed down by now.
Did I do anything new during this time? Nope. I only repeated another mailing to my newsletter and the posted on FB. My book had shot up into the H&T charts and it stayed there all the way until the end of the campaign.
This is what my stats looked like. Check out December 1.
So, in hindsight, what did I do right?
My hand-off approach was definitely the way to go. I was saner, happier. I enjoyed the final days of the campaign.
What did I do wrong?
To summarize, the last 10 days were a walk in the park. Still, end of the campaign brought immense relief. And even though I was sort of stressed about what the outcome would be and when I’d get to hear the result, I was happy I tried Kindle Scout. There was not a doubt that I’d try again when I had another book that fit the bill.
Up next week, the result and the aftermath.
